Paper Trail: This is the most important task. Journal every incident, phone call, meeting: time, place, person(s) involved, witnesses (especially yours), evidence. Considering getting a Carbonless Phone Message Spiral Bound book to keep the notes in. Once a situation has been handled, the message can be removed leaving the copy in numerical order.

Audio Record: All phone calls and meetings. Inform those you are talking with that you are recording and on the tape note the details: time, place, people and titles in the meeting.
